Terms and Conditions
The www.hoiamed.fi online store is owned by Hoiamed OÜ (Company Reg. No. 16179745), located at Tatari 64, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia. The online store offers healthcare and personal care products for both private customers and businesses operating in Finland.
Validity of the Sales Agreement, Products, and Pricing Information
Private Customers:
A sales agreement is considered valid once the customer has paid 100% of the total order amount. Order processing begins immediately upon receipt of payment.
Businesses and Medical Institutions:
A sales agreement is considered valid once the customer has placed an order via email and received confirmation from a Hoiamed representative.
The prices of products sold in the online store are displayed on the product pages, with all prices listed in euros (€). Shipping costs depend on the buyer’s location and chosen delivery method, and they are shown before order confirmation.
Placing an Order
To place an order, add the desired products to your shopping cart. Fill in the required fields and select the preferred delivery method. The total cost, including shipping, will be displayed before checkout.
If we are unable to fulfill your order due to stock shortages or any other reason, we will notify you as soon as possible, and the amount paid (including shipping costs) will be refunded promptly, no later than 14 days from the order date.
Payments and Maksekeskus AS
Maksekeskus, which acts as our payment partner, processes your personal data related to payments. Therefore, Maksekeskus serves as the data controller for personal data related to payments.
Maksekeskus also uses cookies to enhance your user experience.
Through Maksekeskus’ payment solution, you can make payments in the following banks:

Shipping and Delivery
Once the purchase is completed, Hoiamed processes the order and hands it over to our logistics partners.

Delivery Times
Standard delivery time is 3-5 business days. If the product is out of stock, we will inform the customer of the new estimated delivery time. Delivery times may vary depending on location.
For promotional campaigns offering free shipping, Hoiamed reserves the right to select the delivery method.
If an order contains multiple products, the longest estimated delivery time applies unless agreed otherwise. Customers must inform us of any address changes before the order is shipped.
Hoiamed is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect customer information.
Damaged goods
If a product is damaged during shipping, we will replace it with a new one. Please report damaged items immediately to info@hoiamed.fi.
Right of Withdrawal
As our customer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, as per Finnish consumer protection law. Products must be returned within 14 days of submitting a cancellation request.
Simply returning the item or failing to pick it up from a collection point does not constitute a cancellation. A formal cancellation request must be sent to info@hoiamed.fi.
Return Conditions
- The product and packaging must be in original condition.
- Sealed hygiene and healthcare products cannot be returned if opened, for health and hygiene reasons.
- Customers must ensure they are not allergic to any product ingredients before purchase, as returns are not accepted for this reason.
- Customers bear the return shipping costs unless the return is due to an incorrect or defective product.
How to Submit a Return Request:
Send an email to info@hoiamed.fi including:
- Your name and contact details
- Order number (from order confirmation, packing slip, or invoice)
- Product name and quantity being returned
- Reason for return
We will confirm whether the return is allowed and ensure the cancellation period has not expired.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and bear the risk until the product reaches Hoiamed. If returning via postal service, keep your return receipt for at least 3 months.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receiving the returned products. If paid via invoice, bank transfer, or prepayment, refunds will be sent directly to the customer’s bank account.
Complaints and Product Issues
If you receive an incorrect or defective product, notify us immediately at info@hoiamed.fi with your order number and photos/videos of the issue. Do not use or attempt to repair the defective product.
If a product is defective, stop using it immediately. If the customer has modified or repaired the item, Hoiamed has the right to refuse the return.
Hoiamed is not responsible for:
- Damage caused by customer negligence (e.g., misuse or lack of maintenance).
- Defects resulting from improper use.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Delays or damages beyond Hoiamed’s control.
- Side effects or allergic reactions.
Customers have a two-year warranty under Finnish law for manufacturing defects, but normal wear and tear is not covered.
Privacy Policy
By using www.hoiamed.fi, customers consent to the processing of their personal data by Hoiamed.
Hoiamed only collects personal data necessary to fulfill orders and does not share it with third parties. You can read our full privacy policy here.
Changes to Terms
Hoiamed reserves the right to update these terms by publishing the revised version on our website. Changes apply only to new orders.
Warranty
The standard warranty applies to products that include a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms can be found in the product instructions.
Dispute Resolution
If a purchase-related dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, customers can take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before doing so, customers must first contact the Consumer Advisory Services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
