Hoiamed’s story is filled with surprises and success. The company’s founders, Reilika Paas and Kaira Pärenson, have been working in the medical field for over 20 years, building an extensive network across various specialties, including point-of-care testing, ophthalmology, gynecology, and cardiology.
In 2020, they partnered with an Estonian PPE manufacturer, expanding their market reach and establishing a stable sales flow. In 2021, they founded Hoiamed OÜ and joined forces with a Finnish point-of-care device manufacturer, assisting in the development and execution of complex procurement projects in Estonia.
In 2022, Hoiamed began working with Ekuberg Pharma (Italy), marking the start of a new distribution division. Since then, the company has focused on Ekuberg Pharma’s Dermoxen intimate care line, which has gained strong support from gynecologists, proctologists, and general practitioners, thanks to its scientific backing and positive feedback from specialists and customers alike. This success has paved the way for expanding into other Dermoxen product lines, such as Lecoxen wound care and ACM skincare solutions. Today, Ekuberg Pharma’s products are available in over 400 pharmacies.
Now, after three years of close collaboration with medical specialists, we are proud to bring Ekuberg Pharma’s product line to the Finnish market.

As Hoiamed’s strategic leader, she manages the company’s finances and marketing. She is passionate about building partnerships, expanding distribution, and developing impactful marketing projects.

Kaira Pärenson has over 20 years of experience in the medical supplies and devices industry, working across fields like ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, cardiology, and laboratory medicine. With a strong track record of helping Finnish manufacturers expand into the Baltic market, she brings deep expertise in building lasting business relationships. At Hoiamed, she leads long-term sales, partnerships, and procurement with a commitment to growth and innovation.

At our headquarters, passionate sales representatives ensure that industry experts are well-informed about our products’ quality and research. They actively participate in training sessions and seminars to stay ahead. We also have a dynamic social media team and a strong support staff handling IT and accounting matters.
Our warehouses are located in two places – a larger facility in Jüri, just outside Tallinn, and a smaller warehouse at our headquarters in Tallinn. Since we supply all pharmacy chains operating in Estonia, we always maintain sufficient stock to ensure timely deliveries to our customers.
